NXT eCOM launches U.S. operations
In a strategic move set in motion since 2021, NXT eCOM, the Omni-Channel Market Expansion Services platform, has successfully initiated its North American operations, opening doors to European brands seeking entry into the United States, the world’s largest retail market.
Spearheading this ambitious expansion is Michael Westenberg, Founder and Chief Executive of NXT GROUP, who expressed his excitement, stating that venturing into the U.S. market is a dream realized.
Netherlands-based NXT GROUP, founded in 2015, is an international Market Expansion Services platform that supports companies to grow business in existing markets and expand into new ones.
Its Chief Executive emphasizes that contrary to the general perception the huge and expanding U.S. market is not easily penetrable. “The country is large, consumers are everywhere, and consumer spending is high, but you cannot reach most customers by being present in the biggest cities only”.
In response to this challenge, NXT eCOM North America is introducing an omni-channel infrastructure to connect European brands with the diverse U.S. consumer base.
One of the key features of this expansion is also the access it will provide to U.S. consumer brands, enabling them to join the NXT eCOM platform. In turn, NXT eCOM will undertake the responsibility to design, develop, nurture, and grow the omni-channel presence and sales for these U.S. brands in Europe, Turkey, and the Asia–Pacific region.
Westenberg said: “NXT eCOM’s approach in the United States is not limited to major cities such as New York, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Houston, Denver, L.A., or Seattle. Instead, the platform aims to provide a national presence on Amazon, tailoring supply to major eTailers like Walmart, Target, and Wayfair. Furthermore, if a brand requires regional sales channels.”
Westenberg assured that NXT eCOM’s business development team is ready to take on the task and become the traveling sales force on behalf of the brand.
Looking ahead, Westenberg is optimistic about the potential market for NXT by providing U.S. consumer brands access to the growing international NXT eCOM platform. He highlighted the significance of U.S. brands, often internationally well-known due to their large home market and the global reach of platforms like Amazon.
“In 2024 we will begin approaching U.S. brands to join the international NXT eCOM platform,” Westenberg said. The goal is to create a successful international market expansion by leveraging the extensive infrastructure and expertise offered by NXT eCOM, marking a significant stride in the world of cross-continental commerce.
